We are excited to announce a community meetup taking place in San Diego, California, on April 30, 2025. Co-hosted by Foxglove and Dronecode member ModalAI and, this half-day event brings together drone developers, robotics engineers, and anyone building on open source autonomy stacks for an afternoon of talks, demos, and networking.
The event will be held at the ModalAI headquarters at 8880 Rehco Rd in San Diego, a fitting venue for a community that has long pushed the boundaries of PX4-powered autonomous flight.
The program features talks from voices across the open source drone and robotics ecosystem, including Dr. Satya Mallick, CEO of OpenCV, and Ramon Roche, General Manager of the Dronecode Foundation, alongside to be announced speakers from ModalAI and Foxglove. The afternoon wraps up with live demos and a happy hour sponsored by Foxglove — plenty of time to connect with others building in the space.
Whether you fly and built with PX4, use Foxglove for visualization and observability, or in the field of robotics and just want to meet the community in person, you are welcome here.
